06.08.2007 – NPR chooses Mouse Guard as part of summer reading list
Glen Weldon chose Mouse Guard: Fall 1152 as one of twelve books for NPR’s “Summer Reads for Former Recess Rebels” book list. In his review, Glen called Mouse Guard: Fall 1152 “Gorgeous, Sweeping, Inch-High Adventure” and “beautifully rendered.”

The cool dudes at Comic Geek Speak grabbed David Petersen for a nice lengthy interview for their Episode 257. Give the podcast a listen and hear David speak!

Richard Vasseur took some time to separately interview both Starkweather’s David Rodriguez and Mouse Guard’s David Petersen.

The Secret History #1 gets reviewed by Marc Mason at his Comics Reading Room and calls it “another solid winner for the publisher.” Chad Boudreau at Comic Readers reviews The Killer #4, The Secret History #2, and Okko #3. And Geeks of Doom reviews Mouse Guard: Fall 1152.

Frederik Hautain of Broken Frontier did a massive interview with Mark Smylie. The article is appropriately titled “Archaia to the Max.”

06.01.2007 – More and more reviews & ASP in the news
ASP gets mentioned in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. Thed latest batch includes reviews at Ain’t It Cool News, PopThought.com, and Van Jensen’s Legion of Doom.

  • James Jobe at PopThought.com reviews The Killer #3, The Secret History Book One: Genesis #1 and Okko #2. Every single issue received 5-out-5 love.
  • Van Jensen mentioned ASP at his Legion of Doom site as one of the top “Little Guy” publishers, gave a quick review of Mouse Guard #6, talks about The Killer and Okko, and reviews The Killer. And in print, his article for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette mentions ASP and how we’re bringing The Killer and other titles to the U.S.
